Equestrian vaulting combines elements of gymnastics and dance performed to music on a moving horse. The horse moves in a circle on a longe line and is controlled by a longeur. Vaulters begin on stationary barrels and progress to performing on the horse at the walk and trot. Experienced vaulters perform at the canter.
Woodside Vaulters is a 501(c) non-profit organization. As such, we rely on contributions from the community in order to provide the highest quality programs for our vaulters and maintain the highest standards of care for our horses.
Your donations may be tax deductible.

Is Vaulting Safe?
We work to provide a safe vaulting experience for all of our vaulters. According to the American Vaulting Association (AVA)
"Vaulting is not only the safest of the equestrian sports, it is documented safer than riding bicycles, playing on playground equipment, and even playing soccer."
